Background

Polypropylene factory and liquefied petroleum gas storage project are invested in Cai Mep Industrial Park (Ba Ria – Vung Tau Province), covering an area of ​​60 hectares, which is owned by Hyosung Group – Hyosung Chemical Corporation – Korea with a total capital of more than $1,2 billion.

The project have target to produce Polypropylene, Ethylene, Propylene … from input materials is liquefied gas and underground storage of liquefied petroleum gas with a capacity of 240,000 tons.

Schedule of project will be constructed within a period of 2 years, expected to be completed and put into operation by the end of 2020. The operation duration of the project is 34 years. This is the largest project ever licensed to enter Ba Ria-Vung Tau Industrial Zone.
