Background
Seyoung – Hoa Hiep factory is a joint venture project between Seyoung Company from South Korea and Hoa Hiep Engineering Co., Ltd. located at Ninh Thuy Industrial Zone – Ninh Hoa Commune, Khanh Hoa Province. The factory has an investment of VND 138 billion, of which the Korean and Vietnamese joint ventures are 50% – 50%. The operation plant requires 200 employees, of which 30 are skilled engineers trained in Korea.
This is a factory specializing in producing pipe spools and is the first factory in Vietnam to apply modern technology lines, one-way production processes and management software (ERP) in the field of manufacturing products for shipbuilding industry in Vietnam and the region, in order to save costs and create a competitive advantage that is different from other groups in the same industry, contributing to revive Vietnam’s shipbuilding industry.

Challenges
With the requirement of completing the schedule in 6 months for the factory to operate in time to produce according to orders committed with HVS customers.
For the first time, Hoa Hiep is the EPC contractor with a project scale of over 3 hectares
